Canada Place is a striking landmark on Vancouver’s skyline. It was built in 1927 to serve Canadian Pacific Railway and other traders shipping goods by sea across the Pacific Ocean.

Also known as Alley-Oop, is located south of West Hastings between Seymour and Granville. What used to be a dreary and dirty alley way in central downtown Vancouver turned into a vibrant pink and yellow urban park.

The entire building where the bride grew up, is decorated with different coloured lights including the entrance as a symbol of celebration as well as a farewell for the bride who will be leaving her home. Because majority of women back home live with their parents until marriage, wedding days are filled with celebrations but also tears of parents who now have to let go of their daugters.
